Producing videos has been a big part of Ava’s broadcast journalism career at Carlmont. She was a segment producer for a year and published both news and opinion videos, and has won awards for some of them.  During the COVID-19 shelter-in-place, she also created a vlog called "Quran-Tea Time," where she shared easy recipes to make when ingredients are limited. She also acted as a production editor for one semester, working as the editor for three new segment producers to grade their work and ensure it was high quality.
